Hook, Line & Sinker Fishing Camp!!!
For kids ages 8 - 14
Camp Funderblast is teaming up with Sandrick Jackson to offer Funderblast Fishing Camp this summer (aka Hook Line & Sinker Camp)!! We've heard there is demand for it in Marin, so we are answering the call!
Sandrick is excited for his third summer of Hook, Line & Sinker Camp! He is one of the PE Teachers at Ross School, and loves running summer camps as much as we do!
Camp is open Monday-Friday for kids ages 8-14.
• Mondays-Thursdays (9am-2pm) DROP OFF & PICK UP will be at various piers and public locations TBD and announced the week prior based on tides (like McNears Beach, Paradise Park, Loch Lomond, etc).
• Friday (8am-3pm) we will go on a chartered boat off the Sausalito Dock leaving at 8am and returning at approximately 2pm. We will be fishing for salmon, halibut, striped bass or rockfish. (The boat crew will fillet the fish for your kids).
No previous fishing experience is required. However, Your child will need to come to camp with a SALT WATER Spinning Reel and Fishing Rod combo, 7-8 foot pole with 20 lb test line. We will provide bait and tackle.
We cannot guarantee your child will catch anything but we will do our best to support them in learning and connecting with Nature. All the skills learned throughout the week will be put into practice on the boat on Friday!

Pricing
$650/week (this includes bringing home fish on Friday that the boat crew has filleted).
We also have the ability for a small number of kids (and/or parents!) to join us on the boat on Fridays! Registration is at the same link as the full week. Cost for coming Friday only is $175.
