Waiver of Understanding - 2024
Dear Camp Parents,
We are excited to be able to provide a wonderful camp experience that all of our campers know and love. We know how much the camp community means to everyone, and have been working to keep measures in place that will allow us to run safely for the 2023 camp season.
Because of the close contact within camp community, and to mitigate risks, we are implementing the following procedures:
The wellness of all staff and campers will be assessed upon arrival, anyone who appears unwell will be asked to go home.
We will continue to work closely with - and following the most current guidelines established by - the California government, California CDC, federal officials and Marin County government for best practices with regards to preventing, identifying and managing COVID-19.
We will continue to modify our programming as may be required by CDC and local guidelines.
We are significantly ramping up our hygiene protocols for cleaning and disinfecting on a camp-wide scale.
As we know, COVID-19 will be with us for the foreseeable future. No matter what procedures and protocols are put in place, there is simply no way to guarantee that COVID-19 or any other pathogen or communicable disease will not enter camp. By the very nature of the personal interactions that take place in the camp environment, there is always a risk of your child contracting COVID-19 or any other disease or infection. And again, we will do everything within our power to keep your children healthy and safe at camp this summer.
As a parent of a camper participating in Funderblast we need you to closely monitor the health of your child and other members of your household, looking for the following symptoms: :
Fever or Chills
Sore Throat
Difficulty Breathing
Unexplained Muscle Aches
Cough
Loss of Sense of Smell or Taste
Nasal Congestion
Diarrhea
or Pink Eye.
If your child, or anyone in your household develops these symptoms or tests positive for Covid-19 you will need to notify the camp staff immediately. If your child or a member of your household becomes sick, your child may be asked to miss camp, and you will not be refunded for the days missed.
We also ask that for the safety of our staff and other families, please follow the guidelines implemented by the county to keep everyone safe!
I hereby acknowledge that I have read and understand the points as described above.
