Stage Play Studio: Comedy, Acting & Improv for Tweens July 6 - 24 - one week sessions 9:30am-3:30pm Mondays - Thursdays & 12:30pm-7:30pm Fridays For Kids ages 10 -14
A creativity-packed performing arts camp for kids ages 10–14! In this playful, skill-building week, campers explore improv, physical comedy, movement, beginning circus arts, character development, and sketch-comedy writing and performance. Each day blends structured learning with joyful games, movement, and creative experimentation. Campers will: • Build confidence and freedom on stage • Strengthen body awareness and ease in physical expression • Develop original characters and sketches • Try circus skills (juggling, rolla-bolla, basic acro, balancing) • Collaborate in groups and rehearse like a real performance troupe • Experience the joy of imaginative play, physical storytelling, and ensemble connection Final Performance: Every week concludes with a student-created show featuring characters, improv scenes, and original sketches. The showcases are Fridays at 6pm. (Note that camp Friday is 12:30pm-7:30pm).
The 1-week session can be repeated, as the skills build with continued exploration.
